Forest Stewardship, Working Forest & Tax Exemption Plans

A comprehensive Forest Management Plan or Stewardship Plan provides a multi-decade roadmap for your woodland based on your specific goals: timber income, wildlife habitat, recreational trails, estate transfer, or forest health. Most importantly, a written plan certified by a professional forester is legally required by county tax assessors to qualify acreage for agricultural/forest use-value property tax abatement (often reducing property taxes by 70% to 90%), as well as federal USDA NRCS cost-share subsidies (EQIP CPA 106).
